Drizzt Proves That Spiders are 100% worse than you think

Drizzt is a fantasy noel line that takes place in the dnd setting the forgotten realms, it is set in the underdark  in the drow capital. Drizzt is one of the sons born to in the matriarchal sociality and this book focusing on his upbrring and drow culture. And it proves 1 just how screwed up loath is, but how scary Driders and Spiders can truly be. 

Driders are what happens to drow that either go against Loth or fail their insistation into the home and society.  This is kinda odd to me, mostly because Loth herself is depicted as a drider and is kinda there god, wouldn't it make more sense that becoming a drider would be an end goal of drow preist like drizzt, older sister and mother. But no instead drider are revered and looked down upon, the city actually goes as far as to exile these creatures and fear them. which doesn't make sense either because for one they still have there mind, as well as the fact that driders are descried as being stronger than drow, so wouldn't it make more sense to keep them around to protect there house form each other, because the top 10 house on connately being threatened or attack by either each other or weaker homes in order to vie for power. 

Like this happens a lot, and one weird fun drow rule is that if you attack a house you most kill every member of that household because if you leave even one alive the rest of the city has to kill your house in a weird act of drow messed up justice. So if your one of the 10 top house you are the most in loth's graces however this puts you in one of the most dangerous positions in the city, because loth is a very hand off god, and by that I mean she doesn't give a rats ass about her 'favored houses' and takes great enjoyment in watching them fight each other. Like when shes board Loth will get house to attack each other for her intermittent, she even promises that they have her will and blessing, then will sit back and watch her 'blessed house' get absolutely demonized by the defend house, shrug and tell her followers that they where not following her will. That is how messed up the drow god is, and they're cult devoted to her.
